Have you asked yourself where you should donate to do as much good as possible? Our goal is to provide knowledge, research and recommendations to help you maximize your impact.
In our pilot program, we worked with 21 Israeli nonprofits to produce research on their cost-effectiveness, to try and answer two key questions – how much good do they do? And at what cost?
Our panel of expert judges identified 3 outstanding organizations.
Kav LaOved has been working for three decades to protect the rights of the most disadvantaged workers in the labor market. We evaluated their hotline, which provides migrant workers, some of the poorest people in Israel, legal and financial advice.
The WASH on Wheels program of the NALA association operates service vehicles to repair water systems in schools in Ethiopia for the purposes of sanitization and disease prevention, and provides running water to thousands of children at a very low cost.
Smoke Free Israel works to prevent smoking uptake by youth, through research and working with the government, and have seen significant success in reducing the health burden from tobacco products.
It is difficult to measure your effectiveness as an organization. It takes courage to publish the research for all to see. But this is the only way we can make informed decisions regarding social action and create an effective and influential third sector. All the associations that participated in the research program promote a groundbreaking change, and the insights are interesting – you are welcome to review them.

In our eyes, thorough investigation and skepticism regarding recommendations on giving donations is a correct and welcome thing. It is not easy to generate loyal insights in a complex field and to accurately assess the social impact of associations and social organizations.
We fully disclose our research method and findings, so you can see for yourself. In addition, we make sure to share the weaknesses of our research method.

מקסימום אימפקט ממומן באופן מלא מתורמים פרטיים שהחליטו לתמוך בחזון שלנו – עולם בו תרומות מייצרות כמה שיותר השפעה חברתית. אנחנו לא לוקחים עמלות מהתרומות שאנחנו מעבירים, ואנחנו לא מקבלים כסף מהעמותות שמיוצגות אצלינו. עד יולי 2023, המימון העיקרי הגיע מקרן מרשת אלטרואיזם אפקטיבי הגלובלי ומתורם יהודי פרטי מארצות הברית, והתכנית מחפשת מממנים נוספים להמשך הדרך.
